In a small paper library on an island, a mother reads a slim guide in an armchair under a warm lamp while her son stands on a step stool to take a book from the shelf.

What a monitor does

In many classrooms, much of an adult’s time goes to supervision, marking routine work and keeping records. Those jobs matter, but they leave little time for the conversation that changes how a child thinks.

What a mentor does

A Hikmah mentor knows your child: their strengths, where they get stuck and what lights them up. They ask good questions, let your child do the thinking and step in at the right moment. They stay with your child over time, and they write your progress updates.

Technology handles the routine.

The short version

Where technology fits

Our platform handles the routine: tracking skills, adapting practice, keeping records. It isn’t a replacement for the mentor; it’s what gives the mentor time to mentor. We’ll share how we choose, check and train our mentors before we open.
